Let's unite against bestiality toward dogs
Save dogs from bestial death
30 million innocent dogs in Asia are murdered for the purpose of selling their meat and consumption. This is an unimaginably bestial practice that must stop.

Imagine going to a restaurant and finding on the menu card various dishes made out of dog and cat meat: steamed dog, grilled or in shrimp sauce. Scary, right? It's hard to think that our four-legged friends could be tortured and served as restaurant food to eat. In South Asia, this happens on daily basis.

An estimated 30 million dogs are murdered for human consumption each year in Asia in a ruthless trade that often involves criminal activity and horrific animal abuse. About 5 million dogs are killed in Vietnam, 10-20 million in China, 2 million in South Korea, 1 million in Indonesia and about 80,000 in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia (HSI, 2022).
All aspects of the trade - from trapping to transport to slaughter - involve great cruelty and suffering, making it one of the most pressing animal welfare issues of our time.
As you read this, dogs and cats in Asia are crammed into small cages and will remain there for days. Eventually, they will be released from their cages only to be later drowned, electrocuted, beaten to death and served in restaurants to be eaten.
How can we put an end to this terrible cruelty?
One way to reduce the demand for meat is to convince local restaurants to stop buying and serving dog and cat meat. Help us support local Southeast Asian pro-animal organizations in their efforts to stop this immoral practice.
If we all decide to voice our opposition to this cause, the effect will be much stronger, and the horrific cruelty to our four-legged friends will be stopped.
