Spain is a beautiful country known for its vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes. Unfortunately, it is also known for something much darker. Are you ready to hear about one of the most horrifying animal cruelties in the world?
Galgos are killed in great numbers every year in Spain.
The scale of the problem is massive, and the numbers are staggering. It is estimated that each year, between 50,000 to 100,000 of these majestic creatures are brutally killed or maimed. We debated whether to show these images, but mass graves of Galgo dogs are becoming more common.
We are committed to raising awareness about the barbaric treatment of Galgo dogs in Spain and creating stronger laws to protect them. Our goal is to gather as many signatures as possible on a petition that will be presented to the Spanish government as evidence that society demands change.
We believe that Galgo dogs are not disposable hunting tools, but loving pets that deserve respect, care, and compassion. They are intelligent, loyal, and deserve a better life. We want to help them find loving homes, and we need your help to achieve this.
