Stop traditional bullfighting
Bullfighting is an exceptionally cruel spectacle organized on a large scale in Spain and many other latin countries, even in France. These are festivals of death and suffering for innocent animals. People also die. In 2022, at least 10 people were killed as a result of being gored by terrified bulls during chases and in arenas. Together, we must put an end to this tradition.

We call upon the Prime Minister of Spain to end the torture of bulls!
We are reaching out to Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, urging an immediate ban on the bloody bullfights that stain Spain’s honor. The cruel and senseless suffering of animals, alongside the grave injuries sustained by people during these annual fights and chases, can no longer be tolerated. Tragically, some pay with their lives for this immoral spectacle.
In 2022 alone, at least ten individuals lost their lives after being gored by bulls in Spanish arenas, with many more injured (CBS News, 2022).

Helping animals in need
Our Foundation has saved 3,000 animals since 2006.
During the annual event, bulls are electrically prodded to force them onto the streets of Pamplona in northern Spain, where they are chased by a screaming crowd. Broken bones and other serious bodily injuries are commonplace as terrified animals slip and crash into building walls. Many tourists are unaware that these same bulls are later brutally killed in the arena.
This cruel and bloody spectacle is unnecessary and unjustified violence, and opposition to bullfighting is growing both in Spain and around the world. A survey conducted last year showed that 81% of Spaniards do not support bullfighting, with the percentage rising to 93% among those aged 16 to 24 (Ipsos, 2016).
The Spanish government must take action to protect animals. We ask you to sign our petition to the Prime Minister, demanding that bull runs and bullfights be banned throughout the country.
